Getting Creative In The Spring Sunshine

easter bonnet making

Residents at Hampton Care Home have been embracing their creativity with a series of hands-on activities. The Easter spirit came alive as everyone gathered to design and decorate their own festive bonnets. Residents enjoyed expressing their individuality through colourful ribbons, flowers, easter decorations and imaginative designs. The highlight of the morning was trying on each other’s creations to see who suited what.

The creativity didn’t stop there though, as we were taking full advantage of the recent sunshine, residents spent time outdoors painting flower pots. This relaxing activity allowed everyone to explore their artistic side while enjoying the fresh air and warm weather. Each pot was uniquely decorated, reflecting personal tastes and styles.

Once the pots have fully dried, residents are looking forward to planting flowers and greenery, which will brighten up the living spaces around the home. These activities not only encourage creativity but also promote social interaction, wellbeing and a strong sense of community. Hampton Care Home continues to provide meaningful and enjoyable experiences that bring residents together.
